AWARDS
According to the HTAi Annual Conference Guidelines:
“There are 4 poster prizes awarded during the Annual Conference: 2 for the “Best (Student) Papers” and 2 for the “Best Posters”. Each prize constitutes a cash award of US $500.00 (US $2,000.00 in total). The ISPC is responsible for assembling a Student Award Committee and a Poster Prize Committee to select the recipients during the Annual Conference.”

The best poster committee was comprised of HTA professionals from three different countries:
- Margareth Portela from Brazil
- Carole Longson, from the United Kingdom
- Andres Pichon-Riviere, from Argentina

These judges chose the two best poster presentations. The titles of the winning posters are:

COST-EFFECTIVENESS ANALYSIS AND BUDGET IMPACT ASSESSMENT: A GRAPHICAL WAY TO COMBINE THE TWO FOR THE AID OF DECISION MAKERS by Mike Paulden from Canada.

And

RESULTS OF TWO SYSTEMATIC REVIEWS OF METHODS FOR META-ANALYSIS AND INDIRECT COMPARISON USED IN EXISTING SYSTEMATIC REVIEWS OR POTENTIALLY AVAILABLE TO USE IN SYSTEMATIC REVIEWS by Jacek Walczak from Poland.

The best student paper committee was comprised of from HTA professionals from five different countries:
- Raquel Riera from Brazil
- Sun Hae Lee Robin, from the France
- Antonio Sarria-Santamera from Spain
- Janet Hiller from Australia
- Pwee Keng Ho from Singapore

These judges chose the two best student presentations. The titles of the winning papers are:

REAL WORD EFFECTIVENESS AND COMPLIANCE OF HEPATITIS C TREATMENT IN BRAZIL: META ANALYSIS AND META REGRESSION by Carine Raquel Blatt from Austria/Brazil

And

ESTIMATING THE SF-6D VALUE SET FOR A SOUTHERN BRAZILIAN POPULATION by Luciane Nascimento Cruz from Brazil
