ABSTRACTS AND PANELS SUBMISSION
CALL FOR PROPOSALS FOR PARALLEL PANEL SESSIONS

The International Scientific Program Committee (ISPC) invites HTAi members and other colleagues to submit ideas for topics and themes for the parallel panel sessions which will be part of the 8th HTAi Annual Meeting 2011. There will be up to 20 panel sessions during the conference.

Parallel panel proposals submission dates: September 6, 2010, to December 3, 2010

All proposals must be submitted in English.

If you have an idea for a topic or theme for a parallel panel, please submit a proposal on-line at www.htai2011.org, providing as much information as you currently have available, including title and scope of the proposed panel, topics to be addressed, and names of potential panelists. Each session will last a total of 90 minutes. A maximum of 4 panelists is suggested. The ISPC will review these proposals in its development of the Scientific Program according to the following criteria:

1. Coherence of individual presentations (e.g., Do they collectively address the topic of the session? Are they representative of global HTA practice?)

2. Relevance of topic to the goals of HTAi (this information is available at www.htai.org)

3. Appropriateness of speakers’ qualifications to present on the topic

Please ensure that enough information is provided to permit the ISPC to evaluate the proposal in relation to these criteria. If the information is not complete or clear, the proposal may not be accepted.

Selection process:

1. The ISPC will review all submissions/ideas and generate a short list.

2. Where needed, the ISPC will contact you for details/clarification.
